Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Buck has built a career at the intersection of sports, community engagement, and business development. A 2017 graduate of Samford University, he began his journey in professional baseball shortly after graduation and is now entering his ninth season in the industry.

Cole was a part of the Birmingham Barons organization from 2018 to 2021, serving as Director of Group Sales while also contributing to sponsorship sales initiatives. He then spent four seasons leading the sales effort in Corporate Partnerships for the El Paso Chihuahuas, where he played a key role in growing the team's sponsorship portfolio and strengthening its presence in the local market.

In a full-circle moment, he returned to the Birmingham Barons at the conclusion of the 2025 season, where he now serves as Director of Corporate Partnerships. In this role, he focuses on building impactful relationships between brands and fans, leveraging the unique platform that Regions Field provides.

Izzy Best joined the Birmingham Barons as the Marketing Director in June 2024, bringing her passion for sports from her hometown of Pittsburgh, where she roots for the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. Izzy graduated from Birmingham-Southern College, where she played softball while studying Accounting and Business.

With professional experience in college athletics, advertising, and nonprofits, Izzy is dedicated to enhancing the Barons marketing efforts. She enjoys Birmingham’s vibrant local restaurant scene, especially Caya Coco downtown!

When she’s not at the ballpark, Izzy loves spending time with her dog, Piper, coaching her travel softball team, and hanging out with friends.

Meg David joined the Birmingham Barons in July 2025 after earning her degree in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Meg’s love for baseball began at a young age, spending countless hours at the ballpark supporting her brother’s games. That early passion sparked a lifelong interest in the sports industry. Her primary responsibilities are game presentation, community relations, and promotions.

She brings valuable marketing experience from internships with summer baseball leagues and the University of South Carolina’s athletic department, where she honed her skills in fan engagement, promotions, and event operations. Meg is excited to continue growing her career in sports and contribute to the Barons’ success both on and off the field.

Caris joined the Barons full-time staff, after starting as a Marketing Intern in January of 2025. She attended Jacksonville State University, where she studied marketing, and gained hands-on sport media experience with Jax State Baseball. She brings dynamic skills in photography, videography, and graphic design to Regions Field, and is determined to constantly pick up new skills.

When she’s not at the stadium, you can usually find her, matcha in hand, listening to Taylor Swift, hanging out with her dog, Chip, or antiquing with her husband.

Pete Billups is in his first season with the Birmingham Barons and brings 15 years of experience in Minor League Baseball. Prior to joining the Barons, he held the same role with the Gwinnett Stripers (Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves), another team under the Diamond Baseball Holdings umbrella.

Pete’s career in MiLB includes leadership roles with several clubs:

- Lynchburg Hillcats: Assistant General Manager (2019-2021)

- Eugene Emeralds: Director of Sales (2018), Director of Ticketing (2015-2017)

- Modesto Nuts: Director of Group Sales (2014)

A proud graduate of James Madison University, Pete earned his degree in Sports Management with minors in Business and Human Resources Development. When he's not at the ballpark, Pete enjoys weekends with his family—Olivia and Weston—cheering on his Dukes or hitting the golf course.

Jason, a native of Rockledge, FL, graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2020 with a degree in Business Administration. He began his career with positions at Sports Info Solutions, MLB, and CBS Sports. In February 2024, Jason joined the Barons as an Operations Intern and was promoted to Group Sales Manager in July 2024.

In his free time, Jason enjoys supporting his favorite sports teams and spending quality time with friends and family.

A proud Jacksonville State University graduate with a degree in Business Finance, Alex Fritz began his career in sports as an Operations Intern with the Birmingham Barons. Over the past two years, he's grown within the organization and currently focuses on ticket sales, where he's passionate about creating memorable experiences for our fans and partners.

Originally from Trussville, Alabama, Alex brings a strong work ethic and a team-first mindset to everything he does—both on and off the field. In his free time, you’ll most likely find him out on the lake fishing or cheering on the Crimson Tide. Roll Tide!

I am originally from Dayton, Ohio (Go Bucks!) and graduated from Mount Saint Joseph University with an Undergraduate Degree in Marketing 2024. Later, I followed that up with a Master's in Business In Administration just a year later in May of 2025. My first experience working in sport was with the Dayton Dragons as a Sport Management Assistant (SMA) in the 2025 season.

I am joining the Barons as an Account Executive of Ticket Sales and excited to add value to a great organization. In my spare time, you can see me streaming video games on streaming platforms, rooting for the Buckeyes and or cheering on the Cleveland, Ohio based sports teams. O-H!

Blair brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Birmingham Barons Ticketing department. A 2014 graduate of Penn State, she studied business operations, but her love of sports brought her into the world of baseball. She is an excellent cook, painter, and mechanic, but prefers to spend her time assisting Barons fans with ticket questions. Blair believes that the Barons have the most loyal fanbase out of any baseball team across the country.

In her free time, Blair enjoys long walks on the beach, bird watching, and competitive cup stacking.

Mac, born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, grew up going to Barons games and fell in love with baseball . He has worked in facility operations with the Hoover Met Sport Complex and Protective Stadium over the past 5 years. He also attended and pursued a degree in Sport Management at Troy University through 2020. When he's not at work, he enjoys spending time on the golf course and spending time with his family.

Brianna Sharp joined the Birmingham team in July, bringing over 15 years of event industry expertise and a hurricane-like work ethic that energizes everything she touches. Originally from Indianapolis, she’s taken part in events at some of the city’s most iconic venues—including Lucas Oil Stadium, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Victory Field, the NCAA headquarters, and the Indianapolis Zoo (yes, even concerts with penguins).

At Regions Field, Brianna brings energy, precision, and a passion for creating standout guest experiences. She’s the driving force behind smooth catering operations and memorable service that leaves a lasting impression.

Outside of work, Brianna’s world revolves around her 10-year-old twin boys. Weekends often mean hitting the trails, where hiking boots replace ballpark shoes and the next summit is always calling.
