DAY 3: Behind the Scenes at Spring Training

Another day in the books.
At one point today, a few White Sox fans actually stopped me to point out how sunburned I am. Yikes. Arizona sun is no joke. Still, another great day out here.
For lunch, I tried Del Taco. I’ll be honest… Taco Bell still wins for me. Nothing beats a Super Crunchwrap.
Now to the baseball.
Today was the first time the White Sox played at home since I arrived. The setup here is pretty cool. The minor league teams play on the backfields, while the MLB guys take the main stadium field. The Knights faced the Giants’ AAA squad, and the White Sox took on the Royals.
One of the highlights was watching Colson Montgomery crush a home run. Pretty wild to think that less than a year ago, he was a Charlotte Knight. Even funnier, not long before the game, he was just shooting hoops and hanging out like anyone else. Then he steps up and launches one.
Tomorrow is already our last day here. How did that happen?
We still have plenty more content coming your way, and I hope you’ve been enjoying the ride. Today, I even made my season predictions. We’ll see how they age when that video drops in September.

Meet Noah Schultz
Elite prospect in the White Sox system
Schultz is widely viewed as one of the top pitching prospects in baseball. At just 22 years old, he’s already drawing attention across the league.
Unique size and delivery
He’s a 6’10” left-handed pitcher, which is extremely rare. His height and long stride create a steep downhill angle that makes his pitches very difficult for hitters to pick up.
Devastating slider
His slider is considered his best pitch and one of the nastiest in the minors. Scouts often grade it as a plus-plus pitch because of its late break and ability to miss bats.
Strikeout machine
In the minors, Schultz has consistently produced elite strikeout numbers while limiting hits. When he’s locating his pitches, hitters struggle to square anything up.
