Rich begins his 32nd year in professional baseball as the President of the Chattanooga Lookouts. He began his career in January of 1993 with the Texas Rangers organization in Port Charlotte, Florida before taking a job with the Lookouts that November to become the Director of Group Sales. He spent the next nine years moving up through the ranks before becoming General Manager of the Lookouts in 1999. In 2002, he moved to Columbia, South Carolina to become the President and General Manager of the Capital City Bombers. After three years, he took the team and relocated the franchise to Greenville, South Carolina. In 2006, he moved to Lakewood, New Jersey to work with the Single-A Affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, the Lakewood BlueClaws. In August of 2011, he was given the opportunity and accepted the position to return to Chattanooga as the President and General Manager of the Lookouts. Rich holds a marketing degree from James Madison University and lives in Chattanooga with his wife, Tracy, and they have two sons, Lucas and Alex.
