Senators Shut Out Fisher Cats, Cruise to 8-0 Win

MANCHESTER, N.H. (Sept. 10, 2026) — The Senators cracked another two home runs and 13 hits to cruise to an 8-0 shutout win over the Fisher Cats Thursday night. The team's 11 shutouts are most in the Eastern League this season and second in all of Double-A.
Harrisburg has out-scored New Hampshire 19-1 through the first two games of the series and has out-hit the Cats 28-9.
LHP Josh Hartle (W, 5-5) led the way with five scoreless frames. He allowed only two hits and two walks while striking out three.
Meanwhile, the Sens offense got on the board in the third. Caleb Farmer drove in Kervin Pichardo with a single then later scored on an error to lead 2-0.
In the fifth, Eli Willits led off with a single for his Double-A hit. Devin Fitz-Gerald, the next hitter, launched a two-run homer down the rightfield line to lead 4-0.
Fitz-Gerald's homered twice in the series.
In the sixth, Pichardo hit homered to the opposite field to stretch the lead to 4-0.
Harrisburg loaded the bases with no out in the seventh but could not score.
Then in the eighth, Sam Brown led off with a single, advanced to second on Pichardo's single, to third on a wild pitch and to home on an error to lead 6-0.
The Sens tacked on two more runs in the ninth. Branden Boissiere led off with a double and later scored on a Sam Brown single. Elijah Green drew a one-out walk and came around on another New Hampshire error.
On the mound, RHP Robert Cranz was first to follow Hartle and retired the three hitters he faced, striking out two.
RHP Eriq Swan worked around a leadoff double for a scoreless seventh. RHP Kendeglys Virguez followed with a scoreless eighth.
RHP Blake Brown closed the shutout by stranded runners on first and third to end the ninth inning.
With two more home runs tonight, the Senators have now hit 145 on the season which is tied with the 1997 team for second-most in modern franchise history.
Game three of the series comes Friday night at 6:03 p.m. RHP Yoel Tejeda (0-5) is scheduled for the start.
