In their first year as a Royals affiliate, the Bandits received recognition for winning their fourth championship in ten seasons, significantly increasing attendance, and one of the most far-reaching charitable efforts in Minor League Baseball.

Modern Woodmen Park and River Bandits Director of Field Services/Head Groundskeeper, Easton Williams earned the Iowa Sports Turf Managers Association's Diamond of the Year award. The honor recognizes excellence in turf management and is given to the top baseball or softball diamond in the state of Iowa.
