Eric Bach joins the Sod Poodles for his first season in the Sod Poodles radio booth as the primary play-by-play caller for 2026 home and road games. A proud graduate of Michigan State's School of Journalism, Bach is a multi-award winning play-by-play broadcaster in both the radio and television mediums.

The former Play-By-Play Broadcaster and Media Relations Manager with the Single-A Fredericksburg Nationals, he is passionate about making each of his broadcasts a window for viewers and listeners to feel more connected to the organization and the game through a natural and conversational style that meets every moment.

Last September, after four seasons of Minor League Baseball, he made his Major League Baseball broadcasting debut, filling in on Washington Nationals radio. He has also called games for the University of Virginia and the Arizona Fall League. He was also the voice of the Division II South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Championship.
