Looking for full, part time and substitute ushers.

Ushers assist all fans with locating their respective seat location within the ballpark, and answering questions about the facility and team. Ushers work to keep Principal Park clean and communicate with management staff to resolve any situation that requires attention. Other related duties may be assigned. Attendants will oversee Iowa Cubs' parking lots during home games and special stadium events. Attendants work skybox and pass lots, as well as process payments. Looking for people-friendly individuals to help greet fans and scan tickets at Iowa Cubs games.

Tickets Scanners are responsible for welcoming guests at the gates, scanning tickets for entry, and providing the best possible customer service experience by answering questions and providing general assistance to fans. Must be able to efficiently validate tickets using an easy-to-use scanner and direct people to the ticket office for further assistance. Ticket Scanners will assist in maintaining team policies and answering questions. This is a game-day position focused from 30 minutes before gates open through when the game starts with shifts typically ranging from 2 to 5 hours varying by the game.

Bat Attendant must be at least 16 years of age and will work before, during and after all Iowa Cubs home games. They will report to the clubhouse manager and also assist Iowa Cubs players and field staff in a variety of duties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service to fans throughout Iowa Cubs home games, both in person at the front desk and via phone inquiries
• Respond promptly, accurately, and professionally to fan questions, concerns, and requests

Education and Experience:

Responsibilities:

Pre-game: cleaning shop and equipment, tearing down batting practice, chalking foul lines, assisting with watering the infield, and any additional game setup

Mid-game: dragging the infield, changing bases, pulling field tarp on and off during inclement weather

Post-game: cleaning dugouts, picking up chalk lines, assisting with clay work, setting out batting practice equipment, tarping mounds and plates

Job responsibilities

• Be the assistant to the Clubhouse Manager and work side by side according to the visiting team needs or requirements which will be different based on each team
• Assist the Clubhouse Manager with aspects related to team needs
• Ability to think independently and act professionally
• Ensure that the Visitors Clubhouse is cleaned and organized
• Clean clubhouse area, locker room area, shower area, toilet areas, coaches office, and training room areas
• Assist in laundry services for coaches and players
• Make sure equipment is moved to and from the dugout prior to the game and after the game
• Account for all laundry and equipment for all players and staff
• Assist in handing out all clean laundry and putting into proper lockers
• Fulfill special requests from players and coaches
• Assist in the unloading of equipment from busses and unpacking the equipment into the clubhouse upon team arrival
• Assist in the packing of equipment and loading the equipment on busses for team departure postgame on Sundays
• Upon team departure assist with cleaning and prepping the clubhouse for next teams arrival
• A good working knowledge of the game of baseball
• Valid drivers license and the ability to drive for any team needs that the Clubhouse Manager will be to busy to fulfill
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and the ability to adapt on the fly
• Good attention to detail
• Good verbal and communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
