E-Train Fall to Bees, 11-1

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Salt Lake took the lead with a run in the first and never turned back. The Bees went on to score four runs in both the second and third innings. CF Raudi Rodriguez belted a two-run homer in the second and SS Yolmer Sanchez added three with his round-tripper in the third. Salt Lake led 9-0 after three complete.

In the sixth, 1B Niko Kavadas hit a solo home run to make it 10-0.

Round Rock avoided a shutout after 3B John Taylor’s RBI single in the seventh.

Kavadas tallied his fourth hit and second homer of the night with a solo shot in the eighth. The Bees cruised to an 11-1 victory on Thursday night.
