Erika grew up in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area and has been dancing since the age of three. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical, with lyrical holding a special place in her heart as her favorite style. The majority of her training took place at Pine Tree Performing Arts Center, where she built a strong technical foundation and deep love for performance. In high school, Erika was a proud member of the Butler High Sequinettes Dance Team and served as co-captain her senior year. She continued her dance journey at the collegiate level, earning a spot on her college dance team before returning home to support her family and complete nursing school.
After earning her Registered Nurse license, Erika married her high school sweetheart, Brian, and together they have three beautiful children. Erika is known for providing strong, compassionate, patient-centered care, which earned her a Daisy award at a leading Pennsylvania hospital. Throughout her 12 years providing care as a dedicated nurse, she has served in the role of Charge Nurse, where she developed strong leadership, team coordination, and clinical decision-making skills. Her experience has strengthened her ability to support both patients and interdisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of safety and quality care.
Outside of nursing and coaching, she loves singing, dancing, and spending time outdoors. Most of all, she cherishes being a mom and spending time with her husband, children, and their dog, Mickey.
Erika is excited to share her kind heart, passion for dance, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of game-day operations with the Dash Sweetteas!
